JOYs (Just Older Youth) is the ministry of Life Christian Church to senior adults, ages 50 and up.

Prayer and fellowship every Tuesday at 9 a.m.

Monthly Fellowships

Throughout the year, the JOYs enjoy monthly events that
include excursion trips, concerts, fellowship dinners, and more fun
than seniors should be allowed!

FAQ's

Q  Do I need to sign up for the events?
A  For the prayer, bowling, and most once-a-month activities there is no sign-up.  Sign-up is only necessary for events that require the purchase of a ticket.

Q  Will I feel out of place if I come by myself?
A  Not at all.  Several people come by themselves because their spouse doesn’t want to come or they are widowed.

Q  What kinds of events have the JOYs had?
A  Weekend trips to Branson
Weekend trips up the Mississippi
Thanksgiving feasts on the Saturday before the holiday
A tropical island theme for a Saturday fellowship
Christmas party

Q  I have recently lost my spouse.  Is there any type of support for me?
A  Yes.  We are very sensitive to your needs and want to help in any way that we are able.
