JOY's (Just Older Youth) is the ministry of Life Christian Church to Senior Adults ages 50 and up.

Monthly Fellowships

Throughout the year the JOY's enjoy monthly events that
include excursion trips, concerts, fellowship dinners, and more fun
than Seniors should be allowed!

FAQ's

Q  Do I need to sign up for the events?
A  For the prayer, bowling and most once-a-month activities there is no sign up.  Sign up is only necessary for events that require the purchase of a ticket.

Q  Will I feel out of place if I come by myself?
A  Not at all.  Several people come by themselves because their spouse doesn’t want to come, or they are widowed.

Q  What kinds of events have the JOY’s had?
A  Week-end trips to Branson
Week-end trips up the Mississippi
Thanksgiving Feasts on the Saturday before the holiday
A tropical island theme for a Saturday fellowship
Christmas party

Q  I have recently lost my spouse.  Is there any type of support for me?
A  Yes.  We are very sensitive to your needs and want to help in any way that we are able.
